During the last conversation session (Advanced), we came across a couple of expressions to start and finish a letter such as:
- أخْتي الحَبيبة (my dear sister)
- أخيكِ المُحِبّ (your loving brother)
Both expressions الحبيبة and مُحِبّ are derivatives from the verb أحَبَّ. Whereas الحبيبة is an adjective qualifying a noun, the word المُحِبّ is referring to the subject who is “loving”: it is an active participle إسْم فاعِل .
Also during the session we shared the following document with useful vocabulary to describe people.
